7- days Wha?! o_O

So in seven days I should be packed in my car with some of my belongings and ready to drive to Utah. Do I look ready?

I am always saying I don't have anything to wear.....I really need to stop lying to myself. :( giving a lot of this away....oh my clothes. Two laundry baskets, one suitcase, two medium boxes....Now JC is another story. Not sure how he is going to get all those clothes to Tukwila. LOL


Hey this looks like progress...

Utah Bound!

So the time has come for a new adventure and new beginning. I embark on this little move in T-minus nine days. I have accepted a wonderful position at a technically school in Utah. My job starts on August 30th. For the time being I will live at home. After about one or two pay checks I will find my own place. I have never lived on my own in Utah so this should be interesting. Also what am I to do with my self all evening? I mean this will be the first time in YEARS that I have not worked a second job.

So anywho, I will miss my family and my husband in Seattle. I must leave my husband so that he can earn the money we need for him to return to Mexico. (I hate immigration). I did learn that the waiting period in Mexico for appointments and backlogs have drastically decreased. Four weeks for visa interview, 4 - 6 weeks for waiver interview, and 10 months for backlog! I hope that all stays the same by the time we need to go.

Anyways....Utah, get ready because here I come.

Vampire Academy - Spirit Bound

Definately not your Twilight type vampires. I started this series about a year ago. It was a little difficult at first for me to get into. I think that may have been due to my love for Twilight and my sprakling vampires. After I got through the first ten chapters or so of the first book I was hooked. Book five was released today. Leave it up to the grocery stores to not know the release date so I bought mine the other day and if I had more time I am sure I would be more than half done. So anyways I am totally excited to have a new book to read and can't wait to see what happens next. Another thing I like about this series is that it's an ongoing series and book six will be released in December.

Demanded it!

So I DEMANDED that New Kids on the Block just had to come to Seattle again. I begged and begged and begged. So I got my wish. Seattle won as one of the most voted cites to have them come debut their new DVD Coming Home



So you had to send an email and enter a drawing to see these young men that once were...Boys




Now be the hansome men of The Block. And I have someone looking out for me cause once again I won a contest to meet them!



Oh yes you heard me....I won again! I am not sure how I have become so lucky with this, but I am so excited. Can you imagine my smile when I saw these words....

Twilight Convention

OK so I may be called a nerd for this, but I had fun.
I got to meet Sam, Paul, Jared, and Embry from New Moon. They are all such nice guys. I even had Kiowa (Embry) come stand next to me at the photo enterance to point out a funny picture of Bronson (Jared). Then after we laughed at it the lady found him and pulled him back inside. So here is the picture.



Since I had to wait two hours for my picture and I thought I would get an autograph. My picture came up ten minutes before my autograph time and luck would have it they accidentally printed two of mine and let me keep both without paying more. So Alex (Paul) signed my photo for me.

2nd Chance - Watching movies from when your a kid

OK so one was Labyrinth - hence the music. If you want to see the video from that section of the movie three clips and songs are at the bottom, but first....

About a year ago I watched an old movie that I saw when I was little. It was completely ruined. It was not how I remembered it. Actually some things about it were a little disturbing because I didn't understand them from when I was a kid.

I thought I would take another chance on it. So this morning I watched the Dark Crystal and then tonight Labyrinth (a Jim Henson day).

So the Dark Crystal was scary to me as a kid. The Skeksis are still creepy...nothing has changed there. I didn't understand the plot line better, but it was still, over all, a pretty good movie. Still creepy though.

Labyrinth - I remember loving this movie when I was little and I still do. The Fire Gang can go though. Those things didn't scare me when I was little, but that are pretty creepy now.
